Konglish Du Jour 10/8

I’ve decided to replace the ‘Korea del Dia’ posts with ‘Konglish Du Jour,’ not, clearly, for the sake of abating my linguistic hubris, but because Konglish is an exquisitely silly social phenomenon and I have always been a fan of the exquisitely silly. Again, Konglish (or its lesser known name, Hanglish) is when English is used in Korean advertisements, fashion or in direct translation, to the effect that it is either ridiculously wrong, ridiculously stylized or simply ridiculous.

This one comes from the Palace Museum of two posts ago:

re last comment, it is possible that these comments are perfectly sensible– prohibiting sexual activity in the museum, and instead urging people to use their cell phones instead? (this would assume that “No use cell phone” should have been written “No, use cell phone”)
